Boost Your Overall Health, Immunity and Energy Levels with These Simple Lifestyle Hacks!

Your overall health is a combination of your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. So, it's important to manage these three areas to boost your overall health naturally because it can help you feel happier, healthier and more energetic!

How do you not only manage but also boost your overall health?  Well, of course in addition to taking My Nana's Tonic daily, here are  three additional things that you can start doing today that will help in a major way!

1st Step:  Managing your Nutrition.

The first step to boosting your overall health is to make sure you're eating a balanced diet. A balanced diet means that you're getting all the nutrients and vitamins your body needs, and it can be achieved by eating a variety of foods from all the food groups.

The best way to get these nutrients is through foods rather than supplements because they provide more than just vitamins and minerals; they also contain fiber, antioxidants, phytochemical (plant chemicals), and other compounds that may help prevent disease or promote good health.

Here's a list of foods that contain all 13 essential vitamins.

  • Meat (especially liver)
  • fish (especially salmon)
  • dark leafy green vegetables
  • milk
  • nuts
  • and whole grains.

2nd Step:  Get in your Exercise.

Physical activity is one of the most important factors in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It can help you maintain a healthy weight, strengthen your bones and muscles, improve your mood and energy levels, reduce symptoms of depression, prevent diabetes and heart disease--the list goes on!

There are many ways to get active: try walking more often; join a gym or yoga class (my personal favorite); take up hiking or swimming as hobbies; play sports with friends.

If you're not used to being physically active then start slowly by doing small things like taking the stairs instead of an elevator or parking farther away from stores so that you have to walk more when shopping (this will also save money!).

Once you've created an exercise plan that works for your schedule and lifestyle then stick with it! The key here is consistency--you won't see results unless you keep up with whatever activity routine works best for YOU!

    3rd Step:  Stress Management

Stress is a major factor in health, and it's important to learn ways to manage stress. Stress can lead to many physical and emotional problems, including heart disease and depression.

The following techniques can help you reduce stress:

    • Meditation - This involves focusing on your breath or repeating a word or phrase silently in your mind while sitting quietly for 10 minutes each day (or longer). It's best if you do this at the same time every day so that it becomes a habit. You may find it helpful to have someone guide you through meditation at first until it becomes easier for you to do on your own later on.

    • Exercise - Regular exercise helps reduce anxiety by releasing endorphins into the bloodstream, which cause feelings of euphoria similar to those experienced after taking drugs such as cocaine or heroin but without any harmful side effects! Just remember, just like choosing the right foods to eat, exercise can also help with your state of mind.

Remember, to boost overall health, it is important to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, manage stress, get enough sleep, maintain strong social connections, take care of mental health, reduce exposure to toxins, and seek preventive care; like you know, My Nana's Tonic!
